The bands are mutually exclusive: Nifty 100 uses 2%; the next 100 companies use 3%; the remaining 300 companies in the Nifty 500 use 5%.
How we research a move
Direct developments: results, management commentary, exchange filings, rating actions, fund-raising, partnerships, acquisitions and regulatory changes.
Industry and macro drivers: tagged for each sector. For an NBFC these include AUM growth, credit costs, asset quality, margins, funding costs, repo rates, liquidity and inflation.
